Food Safety and Microbiology Laboratory

    Food Safety and Microbiology Laboratory contains microscopes, ordinary incubator, biochemical incubator, mold incubator, anaerobic incubator, clean bench, sterile room, drying oven, autoclave, spectrophotometer, pH meter, conductivity meter, turbidity meter, refractometer, water bath, fume hood, water purifier, low temperature refrigerator, UV-visible spectrophotometer, high speed centrifuge, freeze dryer, refrigerated centrifuge, two-dimensional electrophoresis, gel electrophoresis, gel imager, gradient PCR and smart touch cell analyzer. It locates at Yifu Building Room 210 (108 m2), Room 215 (108 m2) Room 212 and 213 (both 24 m2). Room 217 and 218 (both 45 m2). Food Microbial Detection Technology is taught and practiced in CFEB. The laboratory has space to accommodate up to 40 students. Food Microbiology is taught in the College of Bioengineering. Its laboratories have updated facilities for teaching all aspects of Industrial (food) microbiology. The laboratory has space to accommodate up to 70 students.
